  • dedicated to my aussie friends <3

you guys are not considered the fattest country in the world.
    http://www.nydailynews.com/news/us_world/2008/06/19/2008-06-19_fat_chance_australia_us_is_still_most_ob.html

    "Not so fat, Australia.

A new study funded by the land down under found that 26 percent of Aussies are overweight, prompting one newspaper to breathlessly claim that Australia is now the fattest country in the world - even fatter than the United States, whose citizens, the paper claims, are obese at a rate of only 25 percent.

The article from The Age, entitled "Australia wins world heavyweight title," references data from a government funded study called "Australia's Future Fat Bomb."

According to a 2007 CDC study, however, 34 percent of Americans are obese, meaning they have a BMI, or Body Mass Index, over 25 (the same metric the Australian study used).

To catch up with those Texas-sized numbers, the Aussies will need to put more pounds on down under before they can rightfully claim this dubious title.

Might we suggest a blooming onion at the Outback Steakhouse?"

go enjoy your blooming onion... (2210 calories and 134 grams of fat)

  • SAY NO TO BOOBIES~

Am I the only person sick of these boob post?  I can't even avoid it. Its like i am trying to read a post with merit, some kind of substance....and i scroll down. and POW. Another boob in my face... Don't get me wrong. I love boobies...but I come to xanga, to read something with alittle more depth. I think i lost a few brain cells here...Honestly most of these people just want attention. Maybe its just me, but I always had a thing for classy girls. Maybe its because i have a sister i truly love and admire....and i would  lose respect  if she kept flaunt herself to strangers for attention...... If you keep showing your boobs like that, guys will only look at you, like a piece of meat. Where do we draw the line? One day its boobs, another day its ass, and it gets worse and worse.....I've met some incredible/beautiful woman these days, and i gained this whole different perspective on then. (a random woman in your eyes, is another person's daughter, wife, sister,) remember that kids.....

(for those who genuinely showed your boobs for breast awareness, i applaud you. my aunt had breast cancer and it was hard for the family, she is now in 2 years in remission....)

breast cancer awareness is important but for what price?

                 pass this on~

  • i promise i won't hit you

Whenever i hang out with girls who are not korean.... They feel comfortable enough to ask me....is it true that korean guys beat up there wife/gfs?  They usually go, i would never date one because of this....I can get offended and be like...WHAT THE...#$*!! ? but i heard this questions so many times now, it doesn't faze me....

LETS GET THE FACTS STRAIGHT~ .

I have never hit any woman in my life,  never even shook her. or laid a finger on her out of spite. My mom taught me to respect our woman, protect our woman, guide our woman, love our woman...... Even though they act like there strong, they are physically and emotionally weaker than you think....A real man is able to "cha ma" .....i don't know any word in american that can describe that word. but it means to take in......to sacrifice.....

its so much easier to degrade our woman for the wrongs they have done. but it takes a real man to take it in.....and accept it...and try to understand...

As a older brother to a korean sister. I have learned to be a pro at this. My sister always criticizes my friends, calling them "hoe bags".  For some reason, she is protective with the girls i hang out with these days. But she knows i am not interested in them. and i know she is looking out for my best interests.....
After living with korean womans for pretty much my whole life, I can deal with any kind of problems, when it comes to woman in my life.

if you ask any of my ex gfs they will tell you, i have never laid a finger on them. i am protective, but i don't suffocate them...I have sacrificed, and took in whatever they had to dish out. And i was stronger because of it.  Usually I am the first korean guy they have dated or willing to date... And i have a even greater responsibility to hold on to....prove to them that theory is wrong.

I must examine this further...Where did this stereotype come from? my theory is....chinese men made this up, so korean guys won't steal there woman.

funny thing is i don't any korean guys willing to date a chinese girl. Expect for me.....

i don't think it matters how a person looks like/or what they are.... Because living in nyc...you notice beauty is everywhere. ITS COMMON...its what they have inside that resonates their outer beauty.

When i ask them.... do you know a korean guys who beat there wives? The answer is always a resounding NO~!!

if anything i know more chinese guys or other race who beat up there wives......

Look at the person, not the stereotype i say.........!!!!

I know its a pipe dream....but i hope enough people read this, so the next person i meet, don't have to ask me that question.

*to all the korean brothers out there reading this....don't fuck up, all the hard work i have to disprove this theory.

and all the girls who are afraid to date a korean guy because of this......don't be. its not always true.

    Now go find your own.....~!!

    UP COMING TOPICS....

"NOT ALL KOREAN PEOPLE EAT DOG"

*STOP ASKING ME IF I AM EITHER FROM THE NORTH OR SOUTH KOREA.
(You don't understand how ignorant that sounds....)

    *i don't understand
why people think korean girls/guys are hotter than most asian race.*
i think they look like any other korean girl..

    *stop whining
korean girls are not as bitchy/crazy as you think,
your just weak.....your just bad at compromising...

  • price you should never pay for a wedding~!!!

Tons of people my age are getting married....and i should think about stuff like this for my wedding... this year alone i went to like 3 weddings already...and 2 more to come...Good grief........i know some people who broke up because the girls family are poor and couldn't come up with the marriage dowry,
'honsu' in Korean.... In Korean custom, they expect the woman's family to pay for the wedding/lavish gifts, etc.....

I told my umma (mom), what if i married a woman who was poor. Would you refuse her for being poor. My mom hugged me, and said. "I came from a very poor family, and your dad's mom (har-money) didn't want your dad to marry me." follow your heart, and find someone who you can love.

I worry about stupid stuff like this. (In secret) opened a bank account for my future wife today. so she doesn't have to worry about shiet like this.

Also, I know a lot of families, who refuses their son/daughter to marry someone who comes from a broken family......I know when she marrys me, she is not only marrying me but my family. but just because she comes from a bad family, doesn't mean she is bad.  She doesn't always have to be a reflection of her parents.....

    the big questions......
who should pay for the wedding?

and does it matter if she comes from a bad  family.....?
