Not all koreans eat dogs, but we do eat....
not all koreans eat dogs......
(its actually taboo to eat these days, and the custom is slowly dying down. i heard you can only get dogs in the country though..)
any guesses what these are?
silk worms....

@emotionallynotavailable - haha... it's just some snack you can get here... dont think its very healthy.. people say there might be horse meat in it or brains or whatsoever :S i dont eat it often though =p

It tastes like delicious! It's actually very tender and I thought it was tastier than just regular beef. It was in Korea at Jejudo Island that I tried it and the restaurant prepared the meat in so many different ways. It was really really good.
i've eaten horse meat if that's weird at all. it was really really good. kind of like beef, but better than that

for all the times I eat balut, i ONLY eat the chick... LOL so i eat it a lot... if i have it..i think it's kind of funny how some things are weird for people, but completely normal for me and vice versa..
weirdest for me would have to be snails + frogs, although i did come close to eating a chicken egg with the chick in it.. now i can't eat hard boiled eggs without first taking it entirely apart first.. =T

um... we eat frogs in indo... it's really yummy too!! hee hee = DD other than that i dun think i've eaten anything weird... indonesia has a lot of race/clan (e.g. javanese, sundanese, batak, dayak etc...) and one of the races i.e. the batak people who live in Sumatra Utara actually have a tradition of eating dogs as well... they especially love black dogs im not quite sure why. my highschool best friend used to tell me how her parents keep dogs and then one day when they're all grown up, her dad actually kill the dogs (or maybe just one?) and cooked it for dinner... my friend lovesss dogs and puppies... as pet... and she really didnt wanna eat it but then she has to coz it's like a tradition thing... and she kinda told me how her dad actually killed the dog which was ..... just scary... but yeah > <
i cant imagine myself eating silk worm > < errrhhhh...
